Relatives made the grisly discovery just before 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14 at 1106 Railroad Street, troopers said.
Inside, a 39-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl were pronounced dead by Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek. Each died from "sharp force injuries" by manner of homicide, Lysek's office found.
Neither victim was named by authorities.
The investigation remains ongoing.
